Residents at Chung Hok House were invited to take part in a three-week cooking course learning to prepare a range of healthy dishes.
The course, organised by the Social Inclusion Team at Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust aims to promote healthy eating and health care services amongst excluded community groups.
Residents prepared dishes including sweet potato coconut curry and spaghetti bolognese which they were able to enjoy alongside their neighbours.
Christine Wai Yin Lee from the Social Inclusion Team said: “The tenants at Chung Hok House enjoyed taking part in the cooking course and learning how to prepare healthy dishes. We look forward to running more initiatives with the residents in future.”
