| Formed in 1984 Pine Court Housing Association was established to provide quality homes and housing services for Liverpool’s Chinese community.
Prior to the formation of the charitable association there was a virtual absence of Chinese people in the social rented housing sector in Merseyside. The Association was registered with the Housing Corporation in 1985 and has subsequently been supported by them through successive strategies for minority associations.
Since Pine Court’s humble beginnings we have grown to provide over 400 homes.
Pine Court Housing Association sets out the fundamental principle to identify and fulfil the specific needs of the tenants. This on-going process of long-term strategic planning has so gar resulted in:
- Provision of bilingual services which enable Chinese speakers to access the full range of services and facilities generally available to the wider community.
- Positive promotion of cultural tolerance and cohesion achieved by the introduction of lettings targets of 50% to people from BME communities.
Pine Court Housing Association Ltd is a Charitable, Industrial & Provident Society Registry No. 25192R |
