On Wednesday 10th February we celebrated our Chinese heritage in style with a Chinese New Year celebration at the Pagoda Arts Centre in Liverpool City Centre. All our tenants were invited to celebrate the year of the monkey, with a Chinese buffet and a variety of traditional Chinese entertainment.
The monkey is known for being very intelligent and clever, one of the most innovative personalities within the zodiac. As the monkey fills the year with its quick wit, curiosity, and its resourcefulness, it becomes a year of reinvention in a lot of ways, a very energetic year and a positive one!
Guests were treated to performances from the Chinese culture centre’s musicians and dancers, as well as Chinese Lion Dancing and martial arts performances from Liverpool Hung Gar Kung Fu Friendship Association.
David Brown, Director of Operations at Pine Court, said: “This event is now in its fourth year and our customers all thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations. It’s great to get together to celebrate our Chinese heritage and to strengthen the links we have with the local community.”
