We are celebrating our 30th year in business as a leading BME (Black minority ethnic) social landlord and marked the anniversary in style with an event at Matou Pan Asian restaurant in Liverpool on Thursday 30th June.
The event, sponsored by Fairtree Homes, was attended by Liverpool Councillors including Deputy Mayor Ann O’Byrne, Gary Millar, Peter Mitchell and George Davies from Wirral Council as well as representatives from the Liverpool Chinese Business Association.
Entertainment was provided by The Liverpool Hung Gar Kung Fu Friendship Association who performed a Chinese lion dance followed by a kung-fu demonstration. The lion dance is a traditional Chinese dance performed for good luck, as it is believed that the lion is an auspicious animal.
David Brown, Director of Operations for Pine Court said: “We are proud to be celebrating our 30th year providing homes to the Chinese community of Liverpool. We believe in creating inclusive and diverse communities and providing our customers with homes not just a place to live. We were honoured to be joined at Matou by local Councillors, business partners and our involved customers to celebrate this milestone.”
