The Inspire Awards celebrate diversity and inclusion in the Construction and Housing sectors and this year has recognised Pine Court Housing Association for our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
As a BME social housing provider, we work to ensure our customers are not left isolated by language or any other barriers.
Chung Hok House, our bi-lingual sheltered scheme in the heart of Liverpool, recently underwent a stunning dementia-friendly refurbishment, with adaptations and considerations to benefit residents suffering from dementia and memory loss.
We also provide bi-lingual apprenticeships to people in the local community looking to get into the housing sector. Our first ever apprentice, Karen Hui is now a full time Bi-lingual Housing Assistant.
We work to improve inequality in our communities through our Community Development Fund which supports local small scale projects that enhance quality of life for our customers and make a real difference to the neighbourhoods where they live.
The winner will be announced at the Inspire Awards on Wednesday 5th June 2019.
