On Wednesday 5th June, we were named as the ‘Most Inspiring Housing Provider’ at the Inspire Awards ceremony in Manchester.
The Inspire Awards celebrate diversity and inclusion in the Construction and Housing sectors and this year, they’ve awarded Pine Court Housing Association for our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
As a BME social housing provider, we work to ensure our customers are not left isolated by language or any other barriers.
Chung Hok House, our bi-lingual sheltered scheme in the heart of Liverpool, recently underwent a stunning dementia-friendly refurbishment, with adaptations and considerations to benefit residents suffering from dementia and memory loss.
We also provide bi-lingual apprenticeships to people in the local community looking to get into the housing sector. Our first ever apprentice, Karen Hui is now a full time Bi-lingual Housing Assistant.
We work to improve inequality in our communities through our Community Development Fund which supports local small scale projects that enhance quality of life for our customers and make a real difference to the neighbourhoods where they live.
David Brown, Director of Pine Court Housing Association said: “We’re so proud to have received this award as equality, diversity and inclusion are the heart of what we do at Pine Court.”
