The halls of Chung Hok House were once again filled with warmth and the sweet scent of tradition as customers gathered to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival (also known as the Moon Festival) on Monday, October 6th, 2025.
This annual celebration is one of the most cherished events in many customers’ calendars. The community came together to honour this beloved tradition, which symbolises wellbeing and family reunion when the moon is at its fullest and brightest.
The Chung Hok House Residents Group in partnership with Pine Court Housing was thrilled to host the vibrant celebration, ensuring a truly meaningful experience for everyone. To mark the occasion, Pine Court provided a delicious spread of traditional treats. Customers enjoyed classic moon cakes, a variety of drinks, and a delightful Chinese meal.
The room filled with happy conversations, smiles, and laughter, reflecting the event’s success in forging a strong Pine Court community spirit. For many of our customers, this gathering offers a powerful moment of cultural connection and a joyful reminder of the traditions of their homeland.
