Introducing Livingstone Park, our biggest ever development!

Pine Housing Association is pleased to announce a brand new housing development in Birkenhead, Wirral.

Livingstone Park is a £6m affordable rent scheme that’s set to provide 49 quality homes off St Peters Road, adjacent to the popular Cammell Laird 1907 Football Club stadium.

The development will include 15 two/three bed houses and 34 one/two bedroom apartments which will available to rent via the choice based lettings register, Property Pool Plus (PPP). PPP on average promotes 150 homes across Liverpool, Sefton, Wirral, Runcorn and Widnes for affordable rent each week.

Pine Court Housing Association is committed to delivering affordable high quality homes to help fulfil housing demand and the requirements of the local community. The development will increase our property portfolio by an 10%, allowing us to provide more affordable homes across Liverpool and Cheshire.

For the scheme we’ve appointed Wirral-based contractors MBE Construction, receiving the seal of approval from Councillor George Davies, Deputy Leader of Wirral Council and Cabinet Member for Housing & Planning.

Cllr George Davies Wirral Council Cabinet member for Housing and Community Safety, said: “I was delighted to visit the Livingston Park site and see the progress being made on this exciting new development, which will offer good quality, attractive and affordable social housing for rent in Rock Ferry.

David Brown, Director of Pine Court Housing Association, added: “The new homes which are set to support the demand for affordable housing on the Wirral have already received an unprecedented amount of interest. The Livingstone Park development has witnessed excellent collaborative working between Pine Court Housing Association and parent company, The Sovini Group to acquire the land and utilise in-house expertise to oversee the progress of the development. Additionally, we are working closely with contractors and the council to ensure high quality homes are delivered safely and on time.

John Morris, Chief Executive Officer of MBE Construction commented: “I am delighted my company has joined forces with Pine Court Housing Association for the construction of 49 houses and apartments in Birkenhead, Wirral, its largest social housing scheme to date. Our partnership will bring much needed social housing to the area, and will further enhance MBE Construction Ltd’s growing reputation as one of the North West’s leading housing construction companies.
